The week was like a postcard.....the serenity and calmness washing away the troubles of a million miles.......
Snowboarding in a white Sea of Tranquility.....and then letting out a primal WHOOP! while doing it! Steph was a dynamo on the slopes.
Green's, Blue's, Black Diamonds.....they all mean nothing to Rachael.
She was in top form on the slopes that weekend.
The sun was so bright that day, we were caught unprepared for the burn we got!
The Views from the top are allencompassing....they are almost calling me to go back and buy a place for good! And believe me, I'm itching to do it.

Michael and Steph pretty much allowed me to keep up with them to TAKE pictures.......otherwise I was sunk. As you can see, it was an absolutely beautiful day for skiing.
While this pic of Steph may look very tame, just imagine what I must look like skiing backwards in order to GET this picture!

Pushing the envelope was the order of the day. Luckily the emergency room was not on today's list.Michael really turns a mean edge snowboarding these days, which is amazing for a kid from Florida who boards very infrequently.....
While the scenery was SPECTACULAR, it still proved to be a bit nippy on the lifts to the top. Stephanie was intent on catching snowflakes.......

The bus system in Vail Village is so easy and runs so often that it reminds me of the trolley's in San Francico...hop on, hop off........FREE!
The scene lookng down upon Vail Village from the Gondola at Eagle's Nest. We had a condo literally steps from the slopes and it was a true ski in/ski out experience......which made it great if someone wanted to take a break and head back for a bit....but the level of construction in Vail and Lionshead...everywhere really....astounded me. Ad it just keeps going! Notice the huge yellow crane at the base.
